Red Hot Chili Peppers are returning to Australia for a massive stadium tour – and they’re bringing along a superstar special guest.
The legendary US rock band announced today that they will be performing four shows in early 2023, kicking off in Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium on January 29, before heading to Sydney’s Accor Stadium on February 2, Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on February 7 and finishing up at Optus Stadium in Perth on February 12.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers last toured Australia in early 2019.
Joining them is Post Malone, with his performance marking his first shows here in four years.
Earlier this year, the multi-platinum selling rapper released his fourth album Twelve Carat Toothache, featuring a collaboration with Aussie teen music sensation The Kid Laroi, who appeared on The Project in May and revealed that he’d inked a tattoo of the words “I need 2 s**t” on Malone while they worked together.
Malone returned the favour with a tattoo on Laroi of a cowboy wearing clogs.
A Telstra Plus member pre-sale for the Peppers’ tour begins July 6, with general public tickets on sale from July 11.
